Ive seen her on MTV with her own show, Its on With Alexa Chung, and I have adored every piece of clothing she wears! Alexa Chung brings her own twist to ripped yet pretty British designs that she shows off to her American audience. Once again, I have put up outfits she has worn and their similar ones found in my own closet. She includes cool, preppy, and also edgy rocker looks in what she wears on her show, and everyday I look forward to watching!

Wal-Mart is the new place for fashionable buys!

Wal-Mart just may be the new black...

This is a cute, thin light purple long sleeve sweater from Wal Mart I purchased for..... wait for it....$3.00! This sweater fits comfortably and I can throw it on over some jeans for the movies, or dress it up by leaving it unbuttoned over a more printed dress and belt. This is by the fantastic Max Azria, a man who knows the art of creating contemporary yet beautiful clothes that always make women look fabulous.

This is another sweater designed by Max Azria for Wal Mart. And yes, it was also $3.00! I wanted something to be Short sleeved for the warmer months, and this fit that description!


Just so nobody thinks I am lying...hehe :)







My motto is simply to always dress to impress for any and every occasion. So of course on my small outing to Wal Mart I had to look good. I paired a black Target skirt with a shiny purple top also from Target. Tying them together is a vintage bold and colorful beaded belt from my Grandma. The look is something I will have to remember to wear again because it made me look and feel fantastic as I shopped!

Max Azria was my favorite designer today obviously! I bought two sweaters and a pair of his design in the form of these cheetah and studded flats he co-designed with the famous Miley Cyrus! They were only $10.00 and were a great buy because I didn't want to spend up to $50.00 on new shoes from journeys. The line by Miley Cyrus and Max Azria for Wal-Mart is actually really fantastic! The theme is more of a rock and roll London feel, complete with the city's flag design and phone booths on t-shirts, some cute shiny metallic-like and cheetah leggings, high waisted denim, black skinny jeans, vintage v-neck t-shirts, Tye-dye tank tops, and vests over t-shirts. I was happily surprised by their collection!

Demi Lovato inspired looks!

I absolutely love Demi Lovato's clothes! She has that hip, rocker, biker look but she still manages to squeeze in soft florals and bold colors into everything she wears! In ode to her style, I have come up with my own versions of outfits she has worn! After I searched in my closet for the most similar items, I realized a ton of my own clothes match the things she wears! So look over the stuff I picked out, which include prices I paid to compare to Demi Lovato's!

Tank Dresses

This is a tank dress, something very stylish for summer and definitely will work into fall clothing! Yesterday I shopped around with my friends and found this in Wet Seal, on sale for $9.99! This grey and black item is very fitted around the waist and will fit into my wardrobe for fall. It is an incredible buy compared to its look alike, a very similar Theory dress priced at $295.00. A number of other stores, such as Forever 21 and Tillys have this design at prices ranging from 14.90-25.99, so I ended up with a huge savings by shopping around and finding a better deal! Miley Cyrus as been spotted wearing this trend on the red carpet, to the movie premiere of Bolt. The dress she wore is also by Theory, and it is paired with colorful jewerly as well as black high heels!

<--In additon to the tank dress, I also purchased a dark electric blue swing top from Forever 21, for an amazing $3.99! I love to wear longer tops with colorful, lace, or printed leggings, or even denim skinny jeans. This top had an elaborate knit work in the center, which makes it a unique piece.

Plaid is Rad for fall! PLUS -My other finds of the day...

<-- Pictured is one of my latest buys. Plaid is a fantastic print that is being worked into all the fall designs at every store. Plaid dresses, jackets, and even jumpers are being seen at Forever 21, Wet Seal, Target, and of course, Ross. I hope to add in plaid in trendy fall colors such as blues, browns, purples, and blacks. My next goal is to purchase loose plaid blouses for a more sophisticated look.

At $12.99, this adorable blue plaid jumper was a steal compared to the prices in Forever 21 and Wet Seal. I browsed around my local Ross and picked up a few essential items for fall. I plan on layering this jumper with a black jacket and tights with my black gladiator sandals.







<-- This white and black item fits perfectly on me, and I especially loved that it was only $7.99! The cut out design reminds me of something Forever 21 carried, priced around $20, for the same thing I just bought! This dress will compliment any pair of leggings, and I will match it with bold jewelry, printed shoes, and metallic bracelets.














<-- I personally love Besty Johnson and her unique style and statement pieces. Normally, her items rage anywhere from $60-$400, but in the amazing store Ross, I found not only handbags (which I must go back and purchase!) but cell phone cases!



This adorable case was only $5.99 and fits my phone perfectly. I always wanted to buy something from her and now I can, even with a low budget! The green and yellow army print and studded belt give any bag a fun touch of style. Even without being tossed in my purse, I can show off this stylish case as a wristlet.
